EDUCATION

I am a certified personal trainer with 25 years of Personal Training in the health and wellness industry. I take a holistic approach in coaching and online personal training and my background includes an education in Kinesiology, honors in Therapeutic Massage Therapy training, certified personal training, athletic coaching and development, head coaching, Reiki, public speaking, workshop facilitation, corporate health and wellness programs development, ergonomic assessments, return to work programs and providing functional capacity evaluations. 


EXPERIENCE

My education, ongoing training and hands-on practical experience includes working with individuals of all ages and athletic abilities. My specialty is musculoskeletal movement and helping you achieve optimal health through fitness. Your whole self; injuries, restrictions, imbalances, postural patterns, abilities, goals (and more!) and more assist me in putting together the safest, most effective (and realistic) plan that I can to support  you towards success.  You deserve it!

I understand that adapting new fitness habits can be challenging and often people are fearful of failure. My goal is to change your view on fitness, so that it becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. So that it becomes enjoyable - not a chore that must be done! I strongly believe that practicing healthy habits and incorporating small changes over time is the best and most do-able way to achieve success in your health and wellness efforts. I also strongly believe that any successful strength training, exercise program, or wellness journey must be realistic and based on looking at you as a whole person.
